今まで、思わず目を疑いたくなるような、全く訳わからんちんのコメントをするSurgical ReviewerにRejectされてきましたが、ようやっと認められました。
麻酔医学や集中治療医学の分野の雑誌のReviewerのコメントと比較すると、Academic ResearchのBackgroundを持たない外科医のコメントの稚拙さは、一目瞭然です。
改めて、”外科医(Surgeon)”である前に”科学者(Scientist)”たれ！という恩師の言葉を自分に言い聞かせたMasaでした。

Finally, my research papers have been published in top cardiovascular surgical journals! We had attempted to submit papers to these CV surgical journals several times before. However, we were rejected by the surgical reviewers with scientifically poor comments. Most of our research papers were published in the journals in the field of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Surprisingly, the comments the surgical reviewers made were really nonsensical from the point of view of academic research. I'd love to be a knowledgeable surgeon with a great scientific mind!
